Ar. Kishore Thapa
Former Secretary, Government of Nepal
Ar. Kishore Thapa is a distinguished former Secretary of the Government of Nepal, having served in key roles across the Ministries of Urban Development, Education, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Election Commission, and the Water and Energy Commission.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Calcutta University and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. A Humphrey Fellow at Rutgers University in 2003-04, Ar. Thapa is also the Past President of the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA) and currently chairs the South Asian Association of Architects (SAARCH).
He leads the Architecture Subject Committee and advises Kathmandu University. Additionally, he co-authored the book "Bahattar Saalko Bhukampa" and frequently contributes articles on architecture, urban planning, and infrastructure development in national media. He is a regular presence in television and radio discussions.
