Dr. Bindu Lohani is a prominent global figure in climate change and sustainable development, currently holding the position of Chief Advisor at the Global Green Growth Center, International Finance Forum (IFF), China. He has also served as the Global Head of Climate Change at the Centennial Group, Chair of the Board of Directors at Clean Air Asia, and as a Distinguished Fellow at the Emerging Market Forum.


With over 30 years of experience at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Dr. Lohani has held influential roles including Vice President for Knowledge Management and Sustainable Development, and Vice President for Finance and Administration. His leadership extends to advisory and board roles at various international organizations. He is also a Founding Member and Board Director of the Asian Water Council and has served as a Special Advisor to the Asian Smart City Alliance in Yokohama, Japan.


Academically, Dr. Lohani contributes as a Distinguished Adjunct Faculty at the Asian Institute of Technology. He earned a Doctor of Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, a Master of Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
