Dr. Dhundi Raj Pathak
President, Center of Research for Environment, Energy and Water (CREEW)
Dr. Pathak is a Solid Waste Management Specialist-STC at the World Bank, Nepal, and several waste management projects in Southeast Asia and Africa. He has earned a Ph.D. in Geoenvironmental Engineering from Ehime University, Japan. He holds degrees in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering from Tribhuvan University, where he also teaches GIS, Landfill Engineering, and Solid Waste Management.
Dr. Pathak directs the Engineering Study and Research Centre and is the President of the Center of Research for Environment, Energy, and Water (CREEW). His work spans geoenvironmental engineering, integrated waste management, landfill engineering, and GIS mapping. He has published extensively, reviewed geoenvironmental journals, and contributed to sustainable waste management and circular economy solutions in Nepal. He is the coordinator of the scientific committee of GeoMandu 2024: An International Conference Series of Nepal Geotechnical Society and editor of the conference proceedings volume published by Springer.
