Er. Thakur P. Sharma is the President of the Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms (SCAEF), Nepal, and a senior water resources planner and management consultant. With over three decades of experience, he has made significant contributions to irrigation, disaster management studies, GIS applications, and project planning and management in Nepal.
He is currently the Managing Director of Full Bright Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd., a position he has held since December 2015. His prior roles within the company include serving as Executive Director and Principal Engineer, where he was responsible for business development, project coordination, and management. Before joining Full Bright Consultancy, Thakur worked as an Irrigation Engineer at the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Water Resources. He also has experience as a Design Engineer at BPC Hydroconsult and a Water Supply Engineer at the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage.
Thakur holds an M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus, and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. His expertise includes contract administration, infrastructure project preparation, and water-induced hazard studies.
