Mr. Amatya is a seasoned information technologist and marketing strategist currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs and Special Assistant to the President at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. With over 17 years of experience, Sanjeet has honed his expertise across various domains, including information and communication technologies, mass communication, public relations, and marketing strategies. His professional skills encompass system administration, software development, system analysis and design, website development, digital marketing, project management, and leadership.
At AIT, Sanjeet plays a pivotal role in managing the institute's digital media marketing, public relations, branding, and multimedia initiatives. He has overseen the implementation of AIT’s social media strategy, developed policy guidelines, and contributed to content creation that promotes the university in various media outlets. Sanjeet’s interest in technology transfer, IoT, AI, data science, and public relations reflects his commitment to driving innovation and enhancing the global brand of AIT. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies from AIT and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University.
