Mr. Sunil Suwal

Mr. Sunil Suwal (PhDc.) works as a Senior Lecturer at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences at the School of Real Estate and Construction, Finland. He is an architect with a Master's degree in Construction and Real Estate Management. His main responsibilities as a senior lecturer include the design and implementation of BIM and CAD courses for bachelor's and master's degree program students; assisting with BIM CPD courses for the Finnish construction industry; representing Metropolia in national and international BIM research and developments.
He is currently involved as PhD researcher at Aalto University with the topic of BIM competence He is chairperson of Nepal BIM Forum (NBIMF) International and advisor for NBIMF Nepal. He is active in buildingSmart International as a jury leader from the Finnish chapter of BIM Awards and acts as a core member of the knowledge and change management group in buildingSmart Finland. He is a committee member for CEN 442/WG8 for CEN (the European Committee for Standardization), a committee member for the EC3 group (European Council on Computing in Construction), and acts as a Head Architect for ForeFront Engineering in Nepal.
