Mr. Vinayak Pai is the Managing Director & CEO of Tata Projects Limited (TPL), a leading sustainable technology-driven EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company in India. Under his leadership, TPL has undertaken prominent projects such as the New Parliament Building, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Noida International Airport, and the Chennai Metro.
Before joining Tata Projects, Pai held significant roles in global businesses, including President of Energy, Chemicals, and Resources at Jacobs and Group President of Energy and Chemicals Services at Worley.
He is also a prominent industry figure, serving as Vice-Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Maharashtra, Chairman of the National Committee of Roads & Highways, and President of the Construction Federation of India (CFI). Pai's contributions to the industry have been recognized with several awards, including the Hall of Fame Award from Construction Week and the 15th CIDC Vishwakarma Doyen of the Industry 2024 award.
He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from COEP Technological University, a Master in Management Studies from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and an Executive MBA from IIT Bombay’s Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management.
