Ms. Nidhi Sunil Parekh
Ms. Nidhi Sunil Parekh is a Digital Development Specialist at the World Bank where her work focuses on South Asia, particularly Nepal. She has a decade of experience in international development on designing and implementing effective digital identification, social protection, and economic growth policies. Most recently she was Director at J-PAL Africa (MIT’s Poverty Action Lab) where she set-up and led an initiative which uses research to design digital public infrastructure (DPI) across sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that she worked as a Managing Editor at the London School of Economics, a Country Economist at the International Growth Centre Kenya office, and a Senior Policy and Budget Analyst in the Social Protection unit at the South African National Treasury. Nidhi’s background is in Economics and Statistics.
