Rt. Honorable KP Sharma Oli is a prominent Nepalese politician currently serving as the Prime Minister of Nepal. A key figure in Nepal’s political landscape, Oli is the Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) (CPN-UML), one of the country's largest political parties.
Born on February 22, 1952, in the Terhathum district of eastern Nepal, Oli was actively involved in politics from a young age, joining the communist movement in the 1970s. His political career has been marked by his staunch nationalist stance, particularly his strong position on issues related to Nepal’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
As Prime Minister, Oli played a crucial role in the promulgation of Nepal's new constitution in 2015, which marked a significant milestone in the country's transition to a federal democratic republic.
