Dr. Joshi is an urban and regional planning expert with over 20 years of experience in land use planning, urban resilience, urban economics, and policy research. He earned his Ph.D. from Tohoku University and has conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University, Tohoku University, and the University of Indonesia.
Currently, he is the Founding Dean of the Institute of Engineering & IT at Lumbini Technological University and has served as visiting faculty at the Institute of Engineering (Tribhuvan University) and Kathmandu University School of Management.
He has consulted for various government agencies and international organizations including ADB, SDC, and UN. Dr. Joshi has published in leading international journals and has co-authored a book titled 'Traffic Congestion and Land Use Regulations: Theory and Policy Analysis,' published by Elsevier.
